    Rolwaling trek offers a fascinating experience in walking at the west of the Everest and the Tibetan border. The trek covers many hidden valleys and high altitude passes. The trails over glaciers between high mountains provide magnificent panoramic scenery with more than thirty mountains over 6000m. This area has an excellent habitat for a wide variety of plants and animals.
    Also there are many mysterious stories concerning the valley which the forefathers of the present-day Sherpa's once inhabited. It is here that the notorious and celebrated Yeti is supposed to make his home. However, entire research expeditions attempting to find him have so far been unsuccessfully. Besides, the area offers a wide range of Nepali culture, which reflected by Tibetans. The area includes many ancient monasteries and colourful festival.

    Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu
    Upon your arrival, our representative will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport, after a panoramic thrill flying. On a clear day the views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic. After introductory meeting transfer you to hotel in Kathmandu. Rest of the day varies upon your arrival time; we can organize some activities if you arrived by midday or early afternoon but late afternoon and evening arrivals have a free day for individual activities. Take rest and enjoy your first day in Kathmandu, stay overnight at hotel.
     
    Day 02: Half day sightseeing & final preparation
    After breakfast, we will head toward the historical and cultural heart of Nepal. We will encounter theday by sight viewing tours to different historical, spiritual and cultural attractions; including the Swoyambhunath, one of the most glorious Buddhist Chaityas probably the oldest temple of Nepal, famous for its nickname as Monkey Temple which has been registered in UNICECO heritage side. Then we will visit Pashupatinath, the most famous Hindu temple in the country, dedicating to Lord Shiva located on the banks of the holy Baghmati River. Here we see Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating, pilgrims bathing and occasionally funeral pyres burning on the Ghats.
    From there our trip heads toward Boudhhatnath, the largest Tibetan Buddhist stupa of the valley located about 6km. away to the east of Kathmandu City, known as Khasti Chitya. The rest of our time in Katmandu is free for further sightseeing, exploration & final preparation for next morning to trekking. In the late afternoon your tour guide will confirm departure information and briefing the program for the next morning.Overnight stay at hotel.
     
    Day 03: Fly from Katmandu to Lukla & trek to Phakding
    After breakfast, we will be transferred to Kathmandu airport for domestic flight to Lukla. It takes about 35 minutes awe-inspiring scenic flight as we fly parallel to the Himalayan giants bordering Nepal and Tibet, China. We will be met with our local guides and porters, upon our arrival in Lukla. Lukla is a small town with an airport which is lies at an altitude of 2850m. From Lukla we will follow a gentle climb up the mountainside on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi. From Lukla, we descend on a wide trail northwest to the village of Choblung in the Dudh Kosi Valley. The enchanting views of pine and rhododendron forest refresh us on the way where we walk through easy and a village of Ghat. Similarly, we will continue along a small path with many ups and down by following the left bank of Dudh Koshi to Phakding. After about 3-4 hours walk from lukla the trail bring us to   the small village of Phakding which is lies at an elevation of 2640 metres. Overnight stay at hotel.
     
    Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar
    Today we will start adventure through a level path along the right bank of the Dudh Kosi amongst beautiful alpine scenery, through the fragrant blue pine and fir forest, glimpsing spectacular views of Kusum Kangru and Thanserku along the way. We will cross the Dudh Kosi and head upstream along the banks to the confluence of the Bhote Kosi and Dudh Kosi. After crossing the large suspension bridge we make our ascent way to Namche Bazaar. We will move ahead with the stunning views of the peaks of Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8511m), Nuptse (7879m), Arna Dablam (6856m) and Taweche (6542m). finally the climbing trail takes us through pine trees to reach the distinctive horse-shoe shaped bowl containing the village of Namche Bazaar which is ) is surrounded on three sides by mountain ranges and situated at an altitude of 3340 metres. Stay overnight in Namche Bazaar.
     
    Day 05: Acclimatization day in Namche
    This day we will spend by exploring the surrounding beauty and magnificent outlook. It is an ideal place for acclimatization before heading off towards high altitude. We can walk up to Khhumjung where you can visit monastery for the acclimatization where we can see the majority of Sherpa community. Here we will have opportunity to enjoy the splendid views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse, Tawche, kongde etc. if you are interested you can take an hour walk up to the Syangboche, from where we can get outstanding views of the National Park Centre and Museum just above the town. This museum exhibits Sherpa culture. Stay overnight in Namche Bazaar.
     
    Day 06:  Namche to Khumjung
    After breakfast, we leave the Namche by following a small trail high above the Dudh Kosi River, where the views are incredible; we can see the ridge of Nupla and Kwangde Himal (6194m) behind to the west; across the valley to the south, the towering ice-fluted walls of Thamserku which is lies at an altitude of 6623 metres. Similarly, the Lhotse and Nuptse wall can be seen to the east from the top of the valley. Then we will descend to Khumjung, where you have opportunity to taste the Sherpa speciality, Riki Kur, a type of potato fritter enriched with yak butter. Stay overnight at Khumjung.
     
    Day 07:  Khumjung to Tengboche
    From Khumjung we will descend to the village of Shanasa and then follow the natural contour to Trashinga where the trail drops steeply to cross the Dudh Kosi at Phukitenga, at an elevation of 3250 metres. Later, we will climb steeply before the trail level out to ascend gradually towards Tengboche. We pass a steady ascent through pine fir, black juniper and rhododendron forest; this takes approximately 2-3 hours walk. Tengboche is set in a beautiful meadow, high on a ridge surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks on an altitude of 3870 metres and surrounded by dwarf fires and rhododendrons Tengboche. The Tengboche Monastery is a major attraction of Tengboche which is spectacularly situated in a peaceful and tranquil environment and dominated by the Gompa with its prayer flags and Mani stones. As well as stunning views of Kwongde (6187m), Taw ache(6542m), Everest (8848m), Nuptse (7855m), Lhotse (8618m), Amadablam (6856m), Thamserku (6608m) etc. can be seen from here. Overnight stay at Tengboche.
     
    Day 08: Tengboche to Dingboche
    After breakfast, we will leave Tengboche and Khumbu mountains by following a descend path which is covered by rhododendron and finally brings us to a pleasant level area. Similarly we will pass a long Mani stone wall to enter the village of Dingboche, a beautiful patchwork of fields enclosed by stone walls protecting the crops of barley, buckwheat and potatoes from the cold winds and grazing animals. Another wonderful and unforgettable focal point of the Everest High Pass Trekking is Dingboche which lies at an altitude of 4260 metres. As well as some of the Himalayan views of Everest range can be viewed from Dingboche. Today�s trek takes approximately 5 hours walk. Overnight at guest house.
     
    Day 09: Trek from Dingboche to Chhukung
    In the morning time we will explore around Dingboche and lately leave the Dingboche with memories and some breathtaking views of the North face of Ama Dablam and the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. We will trace slightly ascent trail from Dingboche to Chhukang, lies at an elevation of 4730 metres. It takes about 3 hours walk from Dingboche. Overnight in Chhukung Valley.
     
    Day 10: Chhukung to Lobuche via Kongma la pass
    Today from Chhukung we will head toward west via a small, rocky trail and contour around many hillsides, usually not very steeply, until we reach the Pokalden Base Camp. Similarly we will pass a few other hills and more steeps then we will reach another Base Camp, where we can see a clear blue lake which sits just below the pass. Kongma la pass is an exciting destination of this trek, via this interesting and pleasing scenery we move toward Lobuche, which lies at an elevation of 4910 metres. En-route as we ride up the valley we can see the excellent views of Mt. Lobuche East (6119m) to the north. Today�s trek takes about 7 hours walk. We will spend the night at Lobuche.
     
    Day 11: Lobuche to Everest Base Camp and to Gorakshep
    Today will begin our adventure early morning because it takes long time to reach our further destination. We will trace initial walk through rocky moraine path, view icy glacial pond and icebergs down below of Khumbu glacier. After a short downhill walk we will reach to Gorakshep, the flat field below Kala Patthar (5545m) and Mt. Pumori (7145m.). En-route we can see excellent view of Nuptse, Lho-La and Khumbutse. Gorakshep is popular location of the original Everest Base Camp, which is major attraction of this trek and after a great moment we will retrace the trail passing through Khumbu glacier with magnificent views of Cholatse, Mt. Pumori, Lobuche, and Tabuche. Today�s trek takes about seven hours walk. We will spend the night at Gorak Shep.
     
    Day 12:Gorakshep to Kala Patthar and trek to Zongla:
    In the Early morning, we will head toward Kala Patthar from Gorakshep; it is too long day trek. After couple of hours walk, we will reach at Kala Patthar which is lies at an altitude of 5545 metres and famous for excellent view of sunrise. A stunning view of Mt. Everest and many other mountain peaks like Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Thamserku and many more can be seen from the summit of Kala patthar. On the continuation of adventure we will reach at Pheriche, a popular place phone calls to any part of the world. From here we will descend to Lobuche and continue to zongla. It takes around 7-8 hours walk. Overnight stay at Zongla.
     
    Day 13: Zongla to Thannak
    Today we will head toward Thannak from Zongla, on the trek cross the Cho La pass (5370m) and follow the ascent trail of a rocky ridge for a few hours. From the summit, we can see the magnificent views of Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Taboche, Kantaiega, and to Nangpai Gosain, Pasang Lhamo, Numbur and on the Gokyo side. And later we will pass the scramble back down the pass, a rocky, hilly trail across the valley, and a descent to the Thannak. Stay overnight at there.
     
    Day 14: Trek from Thannak to Gokyo
    After breakfast, we will begin our adventure by crossing the Ngozumpa Glacier and trace the trail toward Gokyo; it takes about an hour's hike. Similarly, we ride ahead via grassy ablation valley running beside the Ngozumpa Glacier, from where first sight of Gokyo is clearly seen, a seasonal village and grazing area built beside the third and biggest lake. Gokyo is a great base to explore and observe the surrounding.It is a short day trek so, about three and half hours walk brings us to Gokyo. We will spend night at Gokyo.
     
     
    Day 15: Rest day at Gokyo and excursion around Gokyo valley
    Today we take rest and explore around the Gokyo, a trade centre where the Sherpa people run hotels as well as lodges to provide the best services to the trekkers. Gokyo is situated at an altitude of 4790 metres and the side of Ngozumpa glacier which is known as the biggest glacier of Nepal. If you are interested we can make a side trip to Fifth Lake via Forth Lake. Stay overnight at Gokyo.
     
    Day 16: Trek from Gokyo to Lungden
    Today we will head toward Lungden via the Renjo La pass (5415m) by leaving the west of Gokyo Lake. On the way we will cross an often-frozen stream as well as rock face below the pass to the top and have the views of the Himalayas with a long and impressive panorama of 7000 and 8000 meter peaks all around. Similarly we walk down the steep trail as well as new stone steps and past several yak kharkas, twin Renjo Lakes then head toward Lungden. Lungden is lies at an altitude of 4375 metres. We will stay overnight at a small guest house.
     
    Day 17: Lungden to Thame
    After breakfast we pass by many old, walled Sherpa villages, seasonal settlements of the Thame toward our adventure to Thame, an old village of snaking rock walls, paddocks and traditional slate-roofed Sherpa houses. Thame Gompa is one of the oldest in the Khumbu region and which is perched up to the north of the village. During the summer time the Dunche festival is celebrate at Dhunche, lies at an altitude of 3805 metres. Overnight stay at Thame.
     
    Day 18: Thame to Namche Bazaar
    Today, we have to pass about 4 to 5 hours walk from Thame to Namche bazaar, in-between we will normally trace the flat and descending trail passing through natural beauties. Similarly, well descend through high alpine grassland divided by stone walls before making our way down through beautiful pine and rhododendron forests. En-route we can hear the familiar sound of yak bells as they graze nearby. After arriving in Namche Bazaar, well spend night at the lodge.
     
    Day 19: Namche Bazaar to Lukla
    Today we will leave Namche Bazaar with the memories and trace the descent trail via Monjo along the Dudh Kosi, before making a final ascent to reach the Lukla plateau which is a beautiful and easy walk through blue pine and rhododendron forest. It normally takes about 6 hours walk. We can enjoy and calibrates last night event in Lukla which is lies at an elevation of 2886 metres. Stay overnight at Hotel.
     
    Day 20:  Lukla to Kathmandu
    After breakfast, we will be transferred to Lukla airport for flight back to Kathmandu which takes about 35 minutes awe-inspiring scenic flight as we fly parallel to the Himalayan giants bordering Nepal and Tibetan China. You can enjoy with the scenery (the natural beauty or scenery of hills, rivers, local regions and so on) on your scenic flight. After arrival in Kathmandu airport, you will be then transferred to your hotel. Rest of the time you can spend the evening leisurely. Stay overnight at Kathmandu hotel.
     
    Day 21: Rest day & Shopping
    This day is leisure day for you to rest after many days trekking. You can either relax whole day or you can explore around the city. You can roam around the shopping malls or you can buy handicrafts, Thankas and other various arts and sculptures in the markets. Rest of the time you can spend the evening leisurely, perhaps catch up on some last minute shopping and celebrate dinner together with Nepali Travel staffs. Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.
     
    Day 22: Depart Kathmandu: farewell friends
    According to your flight schedule, it is varies on your departure time rest of day is at leisure forindependent activities of your interest until we pick you up at the hotel or we could plan some activities upon your choice if it is late hour flight and then transfer to airport for your further destination.

Another wonderful and unforgettable focal point of the Everest High Pass Trekking is Dingboche which lies at an altitude of 4260 metres. As well as some of the Himalayan views of Everest range can be viewed from Dingboche. Today�s trek takes approximately 5 hours walk. Overnight at guest house.
     
    Day 09: Trek from Dingboche to Chhukung
    In the morning time we will explore around Dingboche and lately leave the Dingboche with memories and some breathtaking views of the North face of Ama Dablam and the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. We will trace slightly ascent trail from Dingboche to Chhukang, lies at an elevation of 4730 metres. It takes about 3 hours walk from Dingboche. Overnight in Chhukung Valley.
     
    Day 10: Chhukung to Lobuche via Kongma la pass
    Today from Chhukung we will head toward west via a small, rocky trail and contour around many hillsides, usually not very steeply, until we reach the Pokalden Base Camp. Similarly we will pass a few other hills and more steeps then we will reach another Base Camp, where we can see a clear blue lake which sits just below the pass. Kongma la pass is an exciting destination of this trek, via this interesting and pleasing scenery we move toward Lobuche, which lies at an elevation of 4910 metres. En-route as we ride up the valley we can see the excellent views of Mt. Lobuche East (6119m) to the north. Today�s trek takes about 7 hours walk. We will spend the night at Lobuche.
     
    Day 11: Lobuche to Everest Base Camp and to Gorakshep
    Today will begin our adventure early morning because it takes long time to reach our further destination. We will trace initial walk through rocky moraine path, view icy glacial pond and icebergs down below of Khumbu glacier. After a short downhill walk we will reach to Gorakshep, the flat field below Kala Patthar (5545m) and Mt. Pumori (7145m.). En-route we can see excellent view of Nuptse, Lho-La and Khumbutse. Gorakshep is popular location of the original Everest Base Camp, which is major attraction of this trek and after a great moment we will retrace the trail passing through Khumbu glacier with magnificent views of Cholatse, Mt. Pumori, Lobuche, and Tabuche. Today�s trek takes about seven hours walk. We will spend the night at Gorak Shep.
     
    Day 12:Gorakshep to Kala Patthar and trek to Zongla:
    In the Early morning, we will head toward Kala Patthar from Gorakshep; it is too long day trek. After couple of hours walk, we will reach at Kala Patthar which is lies at an altitude of 5545 metres and famous for excellent view of sunrise. A stunning view of Mt. Everest and many other mountain peaks like Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Thamserku and many more can be seen from the summit of Kala patthar. On the continuation of adventure we will reach at Pheriche, a popular place phone calls to any part of the world. From here we will descend to Lobuche and continue to zongla. It takes around 7-8 hours walk. Overnight stay at Zongla.
     
    Day 13: Zongla to Thannak
    Today we will head toward Thannak from Zongla, on the trek cross the Cho La pass (5370m) and follow the ascent trail of a rocky ridge for a few hours. From the summit, we can see the magnificent views of Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Taboche, Kantaiega, and to Nangpai Gosain, Pasang Lhamo, Numbur and on the Gokyo side. And later we will pass the scramble back down the pass, a rocky, hilly trail across the valley, and a descent to the Thannak. Stay overnight at there.
     
    Day 14: Trek from Thannak to Gokyo
    After breakfast, we will begin our adventure by crossing the Ngozumpa Glacier and trace the trail toward Gokyo; it takes about an hour's hike. Similarly, we ride ahead via grassy ablation valley running beside the Ngozumpa Glacier, from where first sight of Gokyo is clearly seen, a seasonal village and grazing area built beside the third and biggest lake. Gokyo is a great base to explore and observe the surrounding.It is a short day trek so, about three and half hours walk brings us to Gokyo. We will spend night at Gokyo.
     
     
    Day 15: Rest day at Gokyo and excursion around Gokyo valley
    Today we take rest and explore around the Gokyo, a trade centre where the Sherpa people run hotels as well as lodges to provide the best services to the trekkers. Gokyo is situated at an altitude of 4790 metres and the side of Ngozumpa glacier which is known as the biggest glacier of Nepal. If you are interested we can make a side trip to Fifth Lake via Forth Lake. Stay overnight at Gokyo.
     
    Day 16: Trek from Gokyo to Lungden
    Today we will head toward Lungden via the Renjo La pass (5415m) by leaving the west of Gokyo Lake. On the way we will cross an often-frozen stream as well as rock face below the pass to the top and have the views of the Himalayas with a long and impressive panorama of 7000 and 8000 meter peaks all around. Similarly we walk down the steep trail as well as new stone steps and past several yak kharkas, twin Renjo Lakes then head toward Lungden. Lungden is lies at an altitude of 4375 metres. We will stay overnight at a small guest house.
     
    Day 17: Lungden to Thame
    After breakfast we pass by many old, walled Sherpa villages, seasonal settlements of the Thame toward our adventure to Thame, an old village of snaking rock walls, paddocks and traditional slate-roofed Sherpa houses. Thame Gompa is one of the oldest in the Khumbu region and which is perched up to the north of the village. During the summer time the Dunche festival is celebrate at Dhunche, lies at an altitude of 3805 metres. Overnight stay at Thame.
     
    Day 18: Thame to Namche Bazaar
    Today, we have to pass about 4 to 5 hours walk from Thame to Namche bazaar, in-between we will normally trace the flat and descending trail passing through natural beauties. Similarly, well descend through high alpine grassland divided by stone walls before making our way down through beautiful pine and rhododendron forests. En-route we can hear the familiar sound of yak bells as they graze nearby. After arriving in Namche Bazaar, well spend night at the lodge.
     
    Day 19: Namche Bazaar to Lukla
    Today we will leave Namche Bazaar with the memories and trace the descent trail via Monjo along the Dudh Kosi, before making a final ascent to reach the Lukla plateau which is a beautiful and easy walk through blue pine and rhododendron forest. It normally takes about 6 hours walk. We can enjoy and calibrates last night event in Lukla which is lies at an elevation of 2886 metres. Stay overnight at Hotel.
     
    Day 20:  Lukla to Kathmandu
    After breakfast, we will be transferred to Lukla airport for flight back to Kathmandu which takes about 35 minutes awe-inspiring scenic flight as we fly parallel to the Himalayan giants bordering Nepal and Tibetan China. You can enjoy with the scenery (the natural beauty or scenery of hills, rivers, local regions and so on) on your scenic flight. After arrival in Kathmandu airport, you will be then transferred to your hotel. Rest of the time you can spend the evening leisurely. Stay overnight at Kathmandu hotel.
     
    Day 21: Rest day & Shopping
    This day is leisure day for you to rest after many days trekking. You can either relax whole day or you can explore around the city. You can roam around the shopping malls or you can buy handicrafts, Thankas and other various arts and sculptures in the markets. Rest of the time you can spend the evening leisurely, perhaps catch up on some last minute shopping and celebrate dinner together with Nepali Travel staffs. Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.
     
    Day 22: Depart Kathmandu: farewell friends
    According to your flight schedule, it is varies on your departure time rest of day is at leisure forindependent activities of your interest until we pick you up at the hotel or we could plan some activities upon your choice if it is late hour flight and then transfer to airport for your further destination.
